I'm not really sure but I know it was after hurricane Katrina because the owners moved here from south louisiana.
No they don't..
4.99 for a pound min 2 pounds
Every year they have the worst crawfish in town.but crawfish season starts in the spring. Go to crawfish palace instead soo much better and they won't serve you with a rude attitude.
Ooo that when it starts ummm ik during throubreds racing they have it look up Louisiana downs racing
Man ok
The PO boys were stacked and quite delicious. We wanted a place to eat that had a home town feel and Kim's fit the bill perfect. Will be back on our next trip through Shreveport / Bosier city.
Real good food...I always stop here when I'm in town.
I am visiting from Houston. 1st time there, the Shrimp Pho was awesome
Wonderful service...great food...good ambiance
I ate their today. I ordered the crawfish egg roll. Fish and shrimp with fries and egg fried rice. And tea to drink. I spent 16 dollars for the absolute worst food I've ever had. The egg roll tasted like swamp water seaweed. The fish and shrimp were not fresh at all. The batter was not good. The fries were ok . The fried rice was HORRIBLE. The tea also tasted as if it was from the toilet. I had 3 bites of food and nothing worth drinking. I will never go back here again. The lady at the counter was nice. The older lady was rude.
Always love this place....just like it did in New Orleans
Grilled shrimp and egg fried rice was good.
We drove from Houston Texas just to experience the food, and Everything was Excellent. The Atmosphere was Great. The restaurant is very Clean. The Food is Awesome. WE WILL BE BACK❤❤❤❤
I was hunting for boiled shrimp to transport lbs. of shrimp. Staff was great on advice on how to transport. THE SHRIMP WERE AWESOME. I will be going back even if is 1 1/2 hours away.
How u charge me for something and don't put it on my plate I would never eat here again I'll stick to captain la
So it's been a bit since I ate here which is a shame as I always want a poboy. Dont let the stars dissuade you just not much special here. Food is ok, flavor is ok, portion is ok but that's just it, ok. Shrimp could be cleaner, I know for some that's a huge deal. Staff are friendly and food is served quick however it's not a place to take a date or friends in town by any stretch. Where they excell is in quick bites for lunch or take home dinner. That said, lots of options and variety. Prices are fair as well.
This place rocks! Fair prices, fresh seafood and fast meal preparation. I’m in town in business and just happened to drive by.
First time and everything was fresh and hot
Very fresh seafood. Good service and good prices. Large portions
Fairly clean restaurant with pretty good food in a convenient location.
Excellent food and service.
Food was hot but didn't taste too good.
I'm not sure if it was just an off day or if things weren't as great bc of everything going on now, but the food just wasn't as good as it used to be. The potatoes were undercooked and the seafood soup seemed to upset my husbands stomach. This location used to be the best, but now not so much
Food was excellent prices were ok would go again
Shrimp Pho was OK plenty of shrimp, but I prefer the pork.
Awesome seafood. Clean restaurant! Service with a smile.
Gumbo is too good. I cant ever buy enough to have left overs. I always eat it. I tell my gf i will save some but i never do. I cant.
My husband and I are what you would call "Foodies." We have had their shrimp po-boys with both grilled and fried shrimp. They are delicious! The fried rice is pretty scrumptious as well. Today we had the pleasure of eating their crab legs. Let me tell you, that was the most delicious, juicy, meaty crab legs that you will find! It's well worth the price. The cooks really enjoy what they do and you see all the effort they put into each dish. The speed in which they prepare the food is fantastic! In less than 10 minutes you can enjoy food for your family. If you go you are in for a treat! Enjoy !
Crawfish is so good !!
Great place for seafood! Very wide range of items to order from. Price is fair, overall everything was delicious and the place was clean. There's no wait staff because mostly what you need is already there at the table.
Best seafood I've ever had! Can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Will definitely stop here everytime I travel to Shreveport.
Was here today. The food is very bland. All of it. We had the fried gator, and two catfish plates. We also had a side order of soft deep fried crab. We spent 60$ on bland food. The catfish also tasted dirty. We won’t be back. I would give zero stars if I could.
We wanted spicy crawfish, and boy did they deliver.... So hot I could only eat a handful. (I usually eat 3 lbs. at a time) Eyes and nose running, but it was good. Will eat the rest tonight. Maybe it will calm down after being in the fridge for awhile...
AMAZING FRESH SEAFOOD! Not a local but visiting and was in need of good local flavor and ended up at this clean, decent priced and high quality establishment. Wide variety of seafood as well as alligator. Flavor was amazing. Take the time if your coming to gamble to stop and eat a good local meal. Will definitely be back sooner than later.
Ok long story... Im from Shreveport, La but move to Houston about 6 yrs ago. Fell in love with my now wife and all that.. I've tried every seafood place in Houston but none came close to tasting like home.. So for yrs i have been telling my wife about kims Seafood and how good it was, but everytime i go home i forget about it.. But this yr when i went home i remembered and we stop by..... It was soo nasty got like 4 lbs of crawfish 2 lbs of crabs it was nothing like i remembered so we trashed the food i told my wife sorry for the Hype lol and went to Grandma's house for some real food!!!
This is my first time coming here. The lady at the counter kind of seemed like a robot, but her service was okay. Another lady welcomed me as she knew it was my first time, and invited me to come back during their intense crawfish season. The dining area was very spacious. The timing on receiving food was quick. The shrimp was amazing, and didn't crumble in my hand or as a I ate along. Popcorn shrimp was okay, but nothing special. Was kind of disappointed in the fried rice because all there was, was shrimp, egg, and onion. No vegetables.Overall, I would return
Larger remodeled space and furniture.. Looks great and much more open.. The Po-boys are amazing as usual!!!
Very nice and clean Restaurant, they have really good pecan pie,and fried fish, and friendly staff
Smells like crawfish. Not my cup of tea. I got the roast beef po-boy. It was pretty yummy. Fries kind of tasted fishy, but only a faint hint. But, I probably won't go back because it smells like crawfish.
Great crawfish, seasoned with just enough spice! Don't expect fine dining, get ready to get your hands dirty and enjoy it!
Once you enter Kim's Seafood & Po-Boy in Bossier,La you are immediately greeted. The restaurant was clean, customer service was great and the food was hot and delicious! I ordered the fried shrimp Po-Boy with fries. Will definitely dine again.
Every thing I needed!Plus leftovers.Yay!!!
Food is great. Employees are nice. Restaurant is always clean
You BEDDA GO GET YOU A PO BOY AT KIMS!!!!!! I tore that thing out the frame! HOW YOU DURIN!?
Went to try their crawfish and ordered 5lbs, corn and potatoes. They were soggy and lots of them were just heads with no tails. I spoke to management about it and they stated “that’s part of crawfish and if we have to deal with the lost so does the customer” I was kinda shocked and blown away. I was simply letting them know. Will never go back to empty shell crawfish!
Long time fan of the legendary Kim. Everything they make is good.
Good food fair price
Ordered the shrimp pho...the pho has a very awkward taste and they dont make it spicy upon request just add more jalapenos and a sriracha/horseradish sauce to mix in it...the shrimp were big but they left the tails on and put them in the pho already...almost choked on the first one had to dig the rest out and cut off the tails...overall they give you a lot of ingredients but the pho does not taste the same as it should has a very odd taste and smell....and for 13 dollars way overpriced I will not order pho from them again
The story of Kim's Seafood is one of perseverance. I am grateful after Katrina they relocated to Shreveport-Bossier. The family is always nice and the food is wonderful. I love the shrimp poboy.
Great shrimp poboy super fast and friendly.
Kim's alligator bites was great, oysters flavorful, the overall price was expected, food basically was good had great flavor, customer service was good. The only thing I didn't like was the gumbo was more gravy than meat, veggies; they gave a small amount of fries. The area seems a little dangerous 😬 which is where the best food be.
Delish, I would eat there again
Had the Pho Dat Biet! I've had several, this soup, from there competition. They are, hands down, the best in town!!!
The food is delicious and authentic to New Orleans. A little on the pricey side but well worth it.
We enjoyed Kim's Seafood. Boiled crab legs crawfish and sausage were great. Potatoes and corn should have same seasoning as boiled meats. We were able to order non spicy for my 9 year old grandson. Gumbo with rice Fried shrimp and fried alligator were good. First you order then find your own table. It is clean inside with lots of tables. Only thing my daughter wanted Frank's hot sauce (lol) I love Louisiana hot sauce. I had to ask did she expect anything but Louisiana sauce.
